About the founder
Built at the intersection of sports, business, and better questions.
James Twedell founded CrowdHelm from a lifelong love of sports and a belief that the best live events are built with equal parts instinct, experience, and evidence.
As a fan, he has always been drawn to what happens both on the field and around it—the energy of a crowd, the strategy behind an event, and the many decisions that shape the experience long before the gates open. Professionally, his background in consulting, technology, and business transformation taught him how to make complex information useful to the people responsible for acting on it.
CrowdHelm brings those interests together. The company is being developed to help event organizations ask sharper questions, see their options more clearly, and build strategies that work for both the business and the people in the seats.
“Live events create unforgettable moments. The business behind them deserves intelligence built for how those moments actually come together.”
